Museum of Považie

Budatin Castle is currently closed for reconstruction.
An exhibition room is open to the public which is located in the Museum opposite Budatin Castle.

The Považská Art Gallery in Zilina hosts the permanent exhibition of ‘Drotárstvo’ (Wire Craft from the 19th Century and Contemporary Wire Art). For more details please see www.pgu.sk

Buses 22 and 30 from Železničná Stanica (Rail Station) link.
Buses 21 and 27 from Hurbanova link.

The nearest stop is Namestie Hrdinov or Namestie Hrdinov. The Castle will be visible from across the road, there is a pedestrian underpass opposite the statue of the sworded horseman.
