Several buildings, palaces and walls were added to the core. It was royal castle and later, the property of nobility. There were several owners, e.g. Pongr\u00e1c family, Pavol Kini\u017ei, Kostka family, Der\u0161fi family. The most famous castle owners were the palatine of Hungary, Franti\u0161ek Ve\u0161el\u00e9ni and his wife \u017dofia Bosniakov\u00e1. At the end of the 17<sup>th<\/sup> century, the castle was demolished due to edict of Leopold I. The demolition mainly affected the fortifications and roofs of the palaces. The castle well and the tank were covered.<\/p><p>The museum of Pova\u017eie region opened the National Cultural Monument \u2013 Stre\u010dno castle for public in 1995. It was after the difficult reconstruction.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section The village has a bell tower and a drinking water source. Next to the village, there is a space for relax with a fireplace and a grill. Also, there is a small amphitheatre, which is used for craft presentations and cultural performances.
